Droid Transfer Overview
Droid Transfer is a powerful software solution designed to facilitate seamless data transfer between Android devices and computers. It enables users to easily manage and back up their Android content, including messages, contacts, photos, and music. Although the setup process is quick and seamless, you should remember that the application requires you to download and install the Android version on your mobile device. After completing this step and ensuring both devices are connected to the same Wi-Fi network, you will be able to access the application menu and begin transferring files to your computer.
On the other hand, the program does not support any connection other than Wi-Fi, and it would have been preferable if it supported other connection types. However, this might not be a major issue if you already have all your devices connected to the internet.
Transferring text messages on Android – The Droid Transfer app displays all messages in your default messaging app, such as Samsung Messages or Google Messages, and backs them up. You can save your messages in various file formats: PDF, HTML, CSV, or text. Droid Transfer also saves the images, emojis, and videos in your messages, along with the dates and times they were received.

- Download this program on your computer and the Transfer Companion app on your Android device.
- Connect your phone and computer via Wi-Fi or USB cable.
- Open the “Files” tab from the Features menu.
- Choose a location in the directory (such as “Memory Card”).
- Click “Add from computer,” then choose either “Add files” or “Add folders.”
- Select the file you want to add from your computer to your phone, then click “Open” or “Select folder.”
